Wouldn’t you love to get into meditation, if you only had the time? You’ve got time for this! Kadampa meditation practices are perfectly suited to our busy modern lives: rather than emphasising long retreats, we can integrate positive ways of thinking into our daily routines, and by doing this we hold onto the peace we collect during meditation so that even just a small amount of meditation goes a long way.
Each class consists of relaxing guided meditations and a teaching on how to improve our well-being by developing positive states of mind and inner peace in our daily life. You can sit on a chair or on cushions on the floor and no physical exercise is involved. Everyone is welcome, no previous experience necessary.
After the class, you are welcome to stay for hot drinks and a chat in the café.
Kadam Bridget Heyes is the principal teacher at Nagarjuna KMC and the NKT National Spiritual Director of the UK. She is a senior disciple of Geshe Kelsang and has been practising for over 25 years. Kadam Bridget is known for her powerful teachings, compassionate heart, and deep understanding of Buddha’s wisdom advice. Her teachings are exceptionally clear and she presents profound ideas in a way that are easy to practice and integrate into daily life.
