Looking in the mirror of Dharma – Post-Spring Festival retreat

With Gen Kelsang Thekchen
Date: Friday 4th – Sunday 6th June 2027
A short retreat on assessing our actions in the mirror of Buddha’s teachings, so that we can make better choices. In this way, we will learn to recognise the root of our problems and unwind our negative habit-patterns.
Teacher: Gen Thekchen

The retreat will be guided by Gen Kelsang Thekchen, the Resident Teacher in Ottawa, Canada. With infectious humour, he can help us see ourselves in a new light.

This short retreat will be based on the teachings from the International NKT-IKBU Spring Festival. Suitable for all levels of experience, this is a perfect opportunity for those who couldn’t attend the festival to receive the benefit of these fresh instructions, or for those who attended to deepen their experience.

Enjoy a distraction-free retreat in high-standard en-suite accommodation. Our quiet, peaceful grounds are perfect for relaxing and immersing yourself in meditation. Surrounded by 17 acres of beautiful grounds and gardens, lake & woodland walks, you can truly feel rested & revived.
