Thornby Hall has such potential to benefit many people, but to fulfill this potential we need to create more accommodation. We are currently converting the existing 13 classrooms that form the stable block into 15 en-suite retreat rooms and a shared kitchen.
We are a Grade-2 Listed Building, so all the work has to be completed in keeping with historical standards. So, this project not only improves the conditions at Thornby Hall, it also helps to restore a beautiful Victorian building to its original splendour.
Work has already started through the kindness of our community volunteers. But we have a way to go…
As a charity we rely entirely on the kindness and generosity of people like you. We need to raise £50,000 for the refurbishment of the stable block.
Our goal is to have the new retreat facilities ready by February 2020.
