Description

According to Buddhism, all our problems can be traced back to a misunderstanding of the nature of our reality. Because we grasp tightly onto mistaken views, we develop deluded states of mind that cause us suffering. By understanding reality, we free ourselves from this cycle of pain and attain real freedom, or nirvana.

On this course, Kadam Bridget will share practical methods we can use to gain personal experience of these profound truths.
Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy this relaxing break from daily life, no previous experience necessary.

Teacher: Kadam Bridget Heyes

Kadam Bridget Heyes is the principal teacher at Nagarjuna KMC and the NKT National Spiritual Director of the UK. She is a senior disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and has been practising for over 35 years.

Kadam Bridget is known for her powerful teachings, compassionate heart, and deep understanding of Buddha’s wisdom advice. Her teachings are exceptionally clear and she presents profound ideas in a way that are easy to practice and integrate into daily life.

Nagarjuna KMC is a haven of peace and a beautiful place to visit. The Café will be open from 9.30, and you are welcome to stay and relax or enjoy a walk around the grounds after the course.

Teaching 1: 10.30 – 11.30am

Teaching 2: 12.15 – 1.15pm

We only have limited places available for in-person classes, so advance booking is recommended.

Cancellation & refund policy

  • Cancellations received more than one week before the event will be refunded minus 25% of the course fee
  • Cancellations received less than one week before will be refunded minus 50% of the course fee
  • Cancellations received less than 24hrs before the event are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Donating cancelled Fees to International Temple’s Project.  Nagarjuna Kadampa Meditation Centre is a registered charity. If you wish to donate the refundable portion of your cancelled fee to the International Temple’s Project, please indicate this at the time of cancellation.
