Retreats at Nagarjuna KMC
A retreat at Nagarjuna Kadampa Meditation Centre is a wonderful opportunity to slow down, relax, and gain a fresh perspective on your life.
Whether you are joining us for a midweek break, a silent retreat day, or a weekend retreat, our peaceful centre offers the ideal environment to rest the mind and reconnect with inner calm. With a range of retreat options available, you can choose what suits you best and create the conditions for greater clarity, positivity, and wellbeing.
Guests stay in our newly developed Stables, offering modern single and double/twin en-suite rooms. Located in the former coach house within the grounds of Thornby Hall, these quiet rooms have been carefully renovated to preserve the building’s Victorian character. Three nourishing vegetarian meals are provided each day.
Each room includes free Wi-Fi, a breakfast basket, and tea-making facilities. The World Peace Café and bookshop are open daily, while those seeking quiet time can enjoy peaceful woodland walks or relax in the comfort of their room.
There are no televisions, and the premises are alcohol- and intoxicant-free.
