Prayers and guided meditation on the practice of Amitayus, Buddha of long life, merit, and wisdom. Start the year full of positive mental energy, cleansed and uplifted by this short retreat.

Through listening, contemplating and meditating on this retreat we can improve our concentration, strengthen our positive energy and achieve special feelings of clarity and tranquillity. Everyone is welcome, although some previous experience of Buddhist practice may be helpful.

Nagarjuna KMC is a haven of peace and a beautiful place to visit. Enjoy a distraction-free retreat in high-standard en-suite accommodation. Our quiet and peaceful grounds are perfect to relax & immerse yourself in meditation. Surrounded by 17 acres of beautiful grounds and gardens, lake & woodland walks, you can truly feel rested & revived. There will be plenty of time between sessions to enjoy the cafe and countryside walks.

Check-in/registration is from 2 – 5pm. If you will be arriving later, please let us know in advance. The centre is run by kind volunteers, so reception cannot be open at all times.

During your stay, simple meals will be cooked for you by the community.

Cancellation & refund policy

  • Cancellations received more than one week before the event will be refunded minus 25% of the course fee
  • Cancellations received less than one week before will be refunded minus 50% of the course fee
  • Cancellations received less than 24hrs before the event are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Donating cancelled Fees to International Temple’s Project.  Nagarjuna Kadampa Meditation Centre is a registered charity. If you wish to donate the refundable portion of your cancelled fee to the International Temple’s Project, please indicate this at the time of cancellation.
