Sangha refuge forum

Nagarjuna Sangha Refuge Forums are intended as a place for Sangha from both Leicester and Thornby Kadampa Meditation Centres to keep in touch and take refuge in our precious Sangha community during these troubled times.

To access the forums please send an email to sangharefuge@gmail.com including your name, location and any formal study programme you are enrolled upon (eg Sunday Night Thornby FP) and we will send you an invitation to register.

This is not an automated service so may take a little while, please bear with us.

Maintaining this wonderful place and all its activities is a big venture. Any donations, large or small, would be greatly appreciated.

Buddhist meditation & retreat centre

We offer a variety of introductory meditation classes, retreats, one-day meditation workshops, art courses, and in-depth study programmes. There is something for everyone – both beginners and more experienced meditators.

We are set in Thornby Hall, a stunning Jacobean building open every day from 11am – 4pm. Relax on our lawns and patio or explore 17 acres of grounds. Free parking available.

Our Resident Teacher, Kadam Bridget Heyes

Our principal teacher is Kadam Bridget Heyes, who is also the National Spiritual Director of the UK. She has many years experience and presents Buddha’s teachings in a grounded and practical way.
